Day Three Hundred Eighty Eight #DiaryoftheEndoftheWorld

We are all together again.

All of us under the blessing.

Our ship is gone, as well as every other vessel that was in the harbor. They took advantage of the narrow window of time granted to them by the robotic warship.

The Captain left word of their plan  to call at a port located on the opposite coast of this continent. We will have the opportunity to rejoin them there if we so desire.

Elijah just smiles. I am convinced that he knew all along this would come to pass. For our plan now is to set out on the trail of the Hamashiachites as soon as preparations can be made.

We soon learn not to reveal our plans.

Day Three Hundred Two #DiaryoftheEndoftheWorld

The message of Elijah is spurring some action on the waterfront. People are lining up seeking passage away from the city.

I was among them, and had just secured a place for us on a container ship departing in six days, when the soldiers showed up. They waded into the crowd and began dispersing it right and left.

Elam saw his opportunity. He collected the remnants and led them apart and offered to take them all out another way.

I was successful in keeping the soldiers occupied elsewhere. Stan had joined those guarding the piers and sent the extra to “look after me.”

I asked him where he planned to be in seven days.

His look told me “not here.”

Day Two Hundred Seventy One #DiaryoftheEndoftheWorld

I was minding my own business, when a torrent of water splashed on my head. They explained that it was often the only indication they had of the weather outside. By the volume, they judged it to have been raining a good long time.

Several accompanied me up to twentieth floor for a look.

Pools of water were collected here and there. And heavy rain was still falling.

I judged it to be the perfect opportunity to lead them to safety beyond the river. I pointed to the bridge they should take and to their ultimate destination where they can join Sy and the others.

We descended, got them all together and ready.

I led them out into the rain.
