Fall Has Fallen

My love loves
To kick through
Crispy crunchy 
Maple leaves
Strewn willy nilly
Upon the ground

Oakie ones 
Are okay too
Mixed with
Pixie caps
Atop acorn nuts
Green or nutty brown.

Fall may have 
Fallen
But it doesn’t 
Get her down.
