The Fairy Diary Day 18 #TFDbyRWOz2

Meribabell writes:

The trail has gone cold. Not even a note from the High Fairy.

I was at the point of continuing on his last known heading when a band of pixie scouts returned with news of a sighting of a fairy matching the description of Rumbletwist.

They found him within the confines of another pixie community, one with whom they are allied. And because this individual has been welcomed into their mound my new friends here, no longer want to chance interfering in the affairs of their neighbors.

Immediately I gathered my things and followed the lead of my pendant and a gracious encouragement from the High Fairy.

Day One Thousand One Hundred Sixty One #DiaryoftheEndoftheWorld

The normal hum of activity within the hiding place returned. Then a celebration of some sort down in the quarters inhabited by Jordan’s people added to the din. They invited their near neighbors to join in and the merriment soon spread to all the other groups.

Elijah and I were invited too. But Elijah was missing, so I made an excuse and went searching for him.

This time I found him in the first place I looked – the set apart place, quietly interceding. I entered into that time with him most gladly.

Some time after we were joined by Mei and the Captain, then Tomas and Reuben.

When we emerged there was a stillness throughout and the sounds of intercession.

Day Six Hundred Twenty Four #DiaryoftheEndoftheWorld

We still wait for the pass to clear. There was quite a build up of army units at this end of the plain, each awaiting their turn to enter. At one point they were overflowing into the area near our camp, so we moved further away.

In so doing we stumbled upon a hamlet. Though there were several dwellings, only one was inhabited.

The family therein hid at our approach, but Elijah and Tomas coaxed them out with assurances that we were not with the army.

They were attracted to Elijah and his staff, wanting to know if he were the Good Shepherd come for them.

All their neighbors had been taken up in the Glorious Appearing.

They want Yeshua.

Day Four Hundred Seventeen #DiaryoftheEndoftheWorld

The council at Elijah’s urging has made the decision to depart the plain. I had seen this coming and was glad for my expedition of the day before. I made a recommendation that we set out along the stream eastwards for as long as feasible.

After we dispersed out of the meeting we scattered to set the command in motion. Elijah and I returned to the Purser’s tent and assisted his family in their preparations for the move.

The Purser joined us after he had gotten the word out to his surrounding neighbors. He then asked me to remain with Mary and the children while he and Elijah traversed to the west side of the camp to lead the advance.
