Day Nine Hundred Five #DiaryoftheEndoftheWorld

A sand storm seemed imminent throughout the morning, so I grounded the drone. And we hunkered down ourselves and did what we could to prepare for the coming blast.

Therefore we did not see the storm front veer away. Nor did we notice the approach of a lone figure crossing the sands to our position.

So we almost had a tragic incident when Jezer appeared in our midst, bearing his phony mark. He did not know he was among friends and those whom he first encountered tried to send him away, or worse.

I was first on the scene before anything untoward could happen. And hauled the more irate off of him.

Elijah dusted him off and made the introductions.

And so it came to pass. We were standing in the same spot where Elijah exhorted and taught the gathered followers of Hamashiach. But this time we were talking to Jordan, our friend, from far to the south and so long ago.

He had come down to meet us and conduct us up the last snowy reaches to this way station encampment.

I congratulated him for I knew that his presence here could only be due to the influence of the Spirit. And he thanked me and then added that he was so glad, for he had been told by the Spirit to expect us.

I made the introductions to the other members of our troop.

Mei was decidedly impressed.

Day One Hundred Thirty Two #DiaryoftheEndoftheWorld

Goodness prevails. Lyle met Moglen, Kip’s friend and co-leader and the outcome was very favorable. We now have a standing invitation at the other end of second avenue. And Lyle hopes it will lead to more introductions.

He stopped by Kip’s on the way back to thank him. We had asked him before about our drone sighting but all he could say then was that it was not theirs. Now he tells us that it was Stan’s drone. It always goes with him. He has struck a deal to bring more back with him. And similar technology to make their jobs as rulers easier.

I heard none of this until later. Blissfully, I passed the day in my courtyard.
