Day Six Hundred Twenty Four #DiaryoftheEndoftheWorld

We still wait for the pass to clear. There was quite a build up of army units at this end of the plain, each awaiting their turn to enter. At one point they were overflowing into the area near our camp, so we moved further away.

In so doing we stumbled upon a hamlet. Though there were several dwellings, only one was inhabited.

The family therein hid at our approach, but Elijah and Tomas coaxed them out with assurances that we were not with the army.

They were attracted to Elijah and his staff, wanting to know if he were the Good Shepherd come for them.

All their neighbors had been taken up in the Glorious Appearing.

They want Yeshua.

Day Two Hundred Ninety #DiaryoftheEndoftheWorld

We have freedom of movement. At least for a while. But maybe not for the whole nineteen days left to us in the city.

It is my considered opinion that our foes have learned their lesson – again. It took them a long time to screw up their courage after the events at the bridge. So long ago now.

Elijah says they will await Stan’s return before attempting the like again.

We passed through an affluent sector today, little touched by the scourgings of the past. They even have gone so far as to put the mark on their dwellings. Elijah spoke to all we passed. I could see the impress of fear on their faces.

They blinked and scurried away.
