The Fairy Diary Day 283 #TFDbyRWOz2

All our plans were tossed to the winds. Rumble’s observation long ago about those canyonlands resonated in my memory. Everyone looked to Merlin, and he quickly sorted out our priorities after a session with his seer’s stone.

Merlin with Nililitil and his armies will return immediately to Laguayil. (The enemy has not yet arrived to lay siege). The High Fairy will lead the fairy troops to Corbelin, which is in imminent danger. (He has ordered the Faerie Queen back to the fairy capital for safety).

The Dromadil pixies will remain here on guard. And will help us.

I was not surprised that Merlin has assigned us to stay with our original plan to descend into the shaft. Each of us – Rumble, Noralei, Dunfallon and I sense our destiny lies below.

Through Dunfallon the Dromadil pixies gifted Rumble with a map of their former strongholds that lay beneath the city of the dark elves.

So far it has proven faithful.

Meribabell writes:

The main topic (and debate) among us revolved around when we should depart on our mission. But first we had a fundamental disagreement to resolve.

Dunfallon wants either Geog to accompany us to the coast on our prophesied path, or take the troll back with him to Dromadil in hopes of learning something about his brother Grimace.

The discussion was heating up, when before I could relate my vision, Noralei stood and asked to speak for me.

So while the pixie and the troll listened, she laid out the facets of my dream of a few days past. She looked at Dunfallon and stated simply that he had to be with the fairies to fulfill the vision.  And since a troll did not figure in my dream, Geog’s destiny must lay elsewhere.

An icy silence followed.

I was the first to speak and proposed that Dunfallon and Geog take the time to consider their next step.

And I declared that tomorrow we leave for the coast.

The Fairy Diary Day 6

Meribabell writes:

The High Fairy sent me away with a note yesterday. It dictated the form my apology to Rumbletwist should take, and did not end until adding other orders and one very startling revelation.

I could not sleep. I felt a heaviness throughout the night.

Finally to give my spirit rest I set it aside and wrote out the apology per his order. And I tried to forget, for the moment, the more upsetting concerns he revealed.

I wish they were as small in importance as this apology now seems.

This changes everything about me and where I thought my destiny lay.

Day One Thousand Fifty Two #DiaryoftheEndoftheWorld

Jordan had taken a long time to get his people into Galilee.  Months had passed hiding out from the army of the East, looking and praying for an opportunity and a way through the lines of that vast army. Finally they skirted around its northern flank, just before that direction was closed by another army coming from the North.

His tale, also told to Sy, is why the latter is reluctant to leave. He feels his destiny lies here.

So this morning we have agreed. Raj P will take Jordan and his people on to the hiding place. And Quasimo shall take Sy’s people there.

Sy shall remain with us, for his vision matches exactly the dream given to me.

Day Six Hundred Eighteen #DiaryoftheEndoftheWorld

Three days from today we will set out. We are no longer contending with each other for our future destiny. The Spirit has shown each one that to follow Elijah is to follow Him.

We must prepare. Each one in his own way.

Elijah visited his spot on the causeway.

The Captain traveled beyond the crossroads to reconnoiter the area towards the army camp.

I accompanied the Captain, only parting from him later to better cover the vicinity down by the river to search out crossings.

Tomas remained in the house and conversed with our neighbor.  It was from that source that he learned another name for Hamashiach – Yeshua. Our neighbor carries it from the memory of being left behind.
