The six elves played our hosts at the inn, and we whiled away a very pleasant time into the wee hours. Ragonil, their leader, knows Navril quite well, so we had a point on which to pin a lot of our conversation. We learned quite a bit about our friend from Laguayil. But almost nothing about the land of the dark elves. It too bears a name no one will speak.
More importantly we discussed at length the plans for today. They came back for us mid morning and escorted us down to the city by the bay.
Officially on the map it is called Corbelin, but the elves of the light prefer the longer title of the Gateway to the West or Dunavonlea.
Ragonil had in mind a friend who captains a vessel that carries on a coastal trade. He pointed to his friend’s vessel – a two masted bark.
Regretfully I told him that though it had two masts, it was not the one from my vision – there were no pair of eyes painted on its bow.
We spent the rest of the day looking to no avail.
