Everything about our day has been overwhelming. The water horses are very curious and have been inundating us with questions. Noralei has actually told them about each of us, so it was a bit unnerving to have one come up to me, call me by my name and ask if I would like to ride him to the other side of the water.
Noralei has explained to them our mission and each one of them wants to help. They see our success as theirs. And all want to volunteer.
Rumble in particular has been mobbed with attention. They hold him in especial reverence having heard from Noralei how he brought about the possibility of their very existence.
I learned this from the one on whom I practiced riding. It led to questions about the origin of fairies. I could only share with him the various stories I’ve heard.
I reported all these new developments to the High Fairy. And promised that we should be on our way again tomorrow.
