The pixie pathway took us near a bog this morning. It appeared to have a reviving effect on the Wisp. Though his glow is brighter he has not recovered his voice. He says not a word but only sighs.
It is quite a pitiful sound. And is having an effect on my mood.
That is until we arrived beside a lovely lake. The sight lifted my mood and my spirit.
And I found myself not wanting to leave the peaceful scene.
I called for Rumble when I realized what was transpiring and told him to seek out the source of the spell and remove its effect on us.
It was another Wisp. A denizen of this locality. And possibly related to our prisoner. Rumble and Dunfallon chased it away.
In that instant Willie recovered his voice and informed us of his displeasure.
We shall need to take greater care in future.
